Growing up, I had the privilege of observing my parents and grandfather pour their hearts into building our family company, Parina International, in the jewelry industry. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, my parents and grandfather instilled in me not just a reverence for the artistry of jewelry-making, but also a profound appreciation for the values of integrity and creativity that defined our family legacy. 

Even while pursuing business and psychology at NYU Stern, my heart always gravitated towards the creative allure of art and design.

After graduation, I dove headfirst into the world of private equity, a whirlwind of excitement and opportunity. Yet, amidst the spreadsheets and numbers, I found myself yearning for a more creative outlet.

It was during this time that I decided to pursue courses at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which opened my eyes to a whole new world of semi-precious stones. Each one boasted its own unique charm and beauty, yet surprisingly, I realized that these stunning gems weren't being utilized much in India for creating stylish and elegant jewelry.

Thus, Something Simple was born—a brand dedicated to bringing luxury to you with simple, monochromatic tones. We believe in blending these semi-precious beauties to create stunning pieces that speak volumes about elegance and sophistication.

With my roots deeply embedded in Jaipur, the epicenter of gemstone brilliance, it only made sense to harness that heritage and create something truly special.
